Delete my data
You can delete everything Memory: Remember Names & Faces knows about you (the app is published by Ekin Uzunyayla). You don’t need an account to do it.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Memory and go to the Me tab.
- Tap Settings (the gear icon).
- In the Account section, tap Delete my data.
- Confirm “I understand this cannot be undone” and tap Delete my data.
You need an internet connection. If the server can’t be reached, nothing is deleted and you can try again.
By email (if you no longer have the app)
Write to ekinnuzunyayla@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data”. The app has no account, so include your Support ID if you have it (Me › Settings › Support ID). If you don’t, tell us the store you used and roughly when you last used the app, and we’ll do our best to find your data. We’ll confirm within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your anonymous account and all data linked to it on our server.
- Your purchase customer record at RevenueCat, our purchase provider.
- Everything the app stores on that device: lessons and progress, reviews, streak, achievements, hearts, gems (including gems you paid for) and your People I Met entries.
- On request, any analytics or crash-report data linked to your anonymous ID.
What is not deleted
- Your subscription. Deleting data does not cancel it. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or you will keep being charged.
- Store records. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records, as the law requires.
- Backups. Deleted data can remain in our providers’ encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it is overwritten. Copies in your own device backup are under your control.
